Automation and analysis is her passion and Zaida believes this will add value to Telkom. She enjoys writing macros in MS Excel and MS Access to automate the functions of manipulating and analyzing data, resulting in automated reports. She enhances her skills by reading online articles and educating herself on how to write different macros. Moreover she is broadening her scope by educating herself- continuous learning is an important value to her- on big data analytics to extend her knowledge and skills, which include excellent programming skills in Visual Basics and SQL.
Goitsemang is a well-rounded individual who has held diverse positions in the IT field.
Her experience is in Networks, IT Service Management, ISP, Relationship Management and Data Centre Solution Design & Planning. Goitsemang is passionate about service delivery and people management. Where she has been leading teams for 10 years. She holds an ND in IT from former Wits Technikon, a BTech Degree in Knowledge Management from TUT. She recently completed her Masters in ICT Policies & Regulation with a dissertation on Internet Regulation of harmful content that affects children in South Africa from the University of Witwatersrand. Goitsemang believes in the three essentials to leadership by Fuchan Yuan which is humility, clarity and courage.

She holds a BBA Degree in Marketing. She held the positions of Sales Rep - Consumer & Buss; Account Manager: International Carrier Services (ICS) under Wholesale (Open Serve) and is now a Senior Manager in Consumer & Mobile. Recently completed the Woman In Leadership programme (WITS). All positions were within sales & customer services environment. While in ICS, she gained experience in the international environment which gave her the opportunity to understand the global markets. In her current role as Senior Manager: Consumer and Mobile, she manages Wholesalers of mobile consumer products. Her role is to grow sales & revenue and Telkom’s footprint within the Wholesale space.
Kamini works at Telkom Business / BCX where her current role is Financial Modelling.
She is a Chartered Management Accountant with a BComm (Honours). Prior to joining Telkom she worked at Deloitte. Kamini is a person that embraces change and loves being with people. She aspires to be an influential leader to be able to empower others in different ways. “Loving what you do is key to success, because if you are passionate about what you do, you will work harder in improving your skills.” She strongly believes that if she creates excellent rapport, upholds good values and leads by example she can make a difference.

Telkom was named South Africa’s best fixed broadband service provider and mobile broadband operator for 2014 at the annual MyBroadband Conference in September. This was the fourth consecutive year that the company has been recognised as the best fixed broadband service provider, and the third year as best mobile broadband provider. The awards are based on the ratings of over 3 000 broadband users, who rate the services on value for money, network quality and billing and support.

Level 1 is recognition that is specific to a service organisation and focuses on appreciation. The practical effect is that each service organisation should design and implement a recognition programme that is:
Level 2 – Spotlight award
Individual actions, desired competencies and behaviours (input) that contribute towards achieving the organisation’s objectives should be recognised and when appropriate, rewarded. For Spotlight awards, a maximum cash award of up to R6 000 may be directly paid to an employee or team based on the magnitude of the achievement.
Level 3 – Business unit awards
Each business unit will have a platform for recognising outstanding achievements onan annual basis. The recognition will be given in public to ensure maximum impact and ongoing motivation, and the function should be hosted by the Head of the business unit (Chief Officer or Managing Director).
Level 4 – Group awards
This is the ultimate recognition level and the Group Chief Executive Officer hosts a prestigious recognition function, known as the “Leading Lights”. The Leading Lights function is a high-profile, annual programme for the whole Company, and celebrates the contributions made by individuals or teams. Recognition is an overseas trip without monetary awards.
