Telkom Foundation, together with the Gauteng Department of Health, development NGO Babuyile, Nozala Trust, Phillips SA and the Industrial Development Corporation, is participating in a mobile clinic partnership. The mobile clinic will focus on providing healthcare for pregnant women, babies and children, along with dental services. Telkom Foundation is sponsoring the internet connectivity and telemedicine equipment.

Adopt-a-Project

The Telkom Foundation introduced the Adopt-A-Project programme to engage eager Telkom executives in social upliftment projects, as a complementary programme to employee volunteerism. The executive management members use their skills, time or provide financial support to assist the less privileged. They get an opportunity to participate in community development by adopting projects in development areas they are passionate about, not projects confined to the Foundation's focus areas.
